These are a special type of printer that can handle a large volume of envelopes, which can never be matched by the manual feeding of envelopes in a regular printer. Envelope printers can handle many sizes of envelopes. Most envelope printers print in black but a few models of 4-color printers are also available. If a company mails thousands of pieces of mail every month, an envelope printer is a better option than using address labels.
